Legal
Privacy &
terms of use.
What we do with the information you send us, and the terms that apply to using this site. Written to describe what actually happens rather than every eventuality a template might cover.
What we collect
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session tracking and no fingerprinting, and it stores nothing in your browser. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
When you send us an enquiry
The contact form is the only place we ask you for anything. When you submit it, we receive:
- Your name and company
- Your work email address
- Your phone number and its country code, if you choose to give one — the field is optional
- The service you selected and any platforms you ticked
- The message you wrote
- A record that you ticked the consent box
Our form handler also records the IP address the submission came from and the date and time it arrived. These are included in the notification we receive, and we use them only to identify and block abuse of the form.
When you simply read the site
Our web host keeps standard server logs, which record the IP addresses of requests in the ordinary course of running a web server. We do not use these logs to build any profile of you.
What we use it for
We use what you send us to:
- Reply to your enquiry and have the conversation you asked for
- Prepare a proposal, if that is where the conversation goes
- Deliver work you engage us for, and stay in touch about it
- Keep a record of enquiries so we can pick up where we left off
We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list. We do not send marketing to people who contacted us about a specific question. If we ever want to do something with your information beyond the above, we will ask you first.
We rely on third-party providers to host this website, to deliver and store our email, and to keep track of client conversations. They process information only on our instructions and for no purpose of their own. Some of them operate servers outside Canada, which means your information may be stored or processed in another country and be subject to the laws that apply there.
How long we keep it
We delete enquiries 24 months after our last contact with you about them. Where an enquiry became an engagement, we keep project records for as long as we need them for the work and for the business and tax records we are required to keep.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See your rights below.
Your rights
Canadian privacy law gives you rights over the information we hold about you. You can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold — and how we have used it
- Correct it — if something is wrong or out of date
- Delete it — where we have no continuing need or legal obligation to keep it
- Withdraw your consent — at any time, which stops us contacting you further
Write to info@vaydos.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted between your browser and our server. Our mailboxes sit behind enterprise-grade access controls, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to do the work.
We should be straight with you about one thing: email is not a secure channel. Once your enquiry leaves our form it travels as email, and email can be intercepted or misdirected. Please do not send us passwords, financial details, or anything covered by a confidentiality agreement through this form. If you have something sensitive to share, say so and we will arrange a secure route — and if an NDA applies, tell us and we will send ours first.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affected your information in a way that created a real risk of serious harm, we would tell you and the relevant regulator, as the law requires.
Terms of use
These terms apply to your use of vaydos.com. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What this site is
It describes our services and how we work. Nothing on it is professional advice, and reading it does not make you a client of Vaydos Inc. or create any engagement between us. A consulting relationship begins only when we have both signed a written agreement. Do not make a decision about a system, a vendor or a project based on this site alone — that is what the conversation is for.
Our content
The text, design, photographs and code on this site belong to Vaydos Inc. or to the people we licensed them from. You are welcome to read it, print it, and quote it with attribution. You may not republish it as your own, or use it to build a competing service.
Other people's trademarks
Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365, MenaITech and Lyntrix are the trademarks of their respective owners. We name them because we implement them. We are an independent consultancy, and naming a product is not a claim to be endorsed by, or affiliated with, its maker beyond any partner status we state explicitly.
Acceptable use
Please do not use the contact form to send unsolicited advertising, try to break or overload the site, or attempt to gain access to anything you are not meant to reach.
Links to other sites
Where we link to a third party, we do not control what they publish or how they handle your data. Their terms apply once you leave ours.
Disclaimer and liability
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information on it is complete or current at any given moment. To the extent the law allows, Vaydos Inc. is not liable for loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute about this site.
Changes
We may update this page. The effective date at the top tells you when it last changed, and the current version always governs. If we make a change that materially affects how we handle personal information, we will say so here rather than change it quietly.
